Beetroot Halwa

Ingredients:
1. Beetroot - 1 (large sized) grated
2. Ghee - 3 tbsp
3. Sugar - 3/4 cup
4. Sweetened Condensed milk - 2 tbsp
5. Milk - 1 cup
6. Chopped almonds, cashews - 2 tbsp
7. Cardamon powder - 1/4 tsp
8. Raisins to garnish
Preparation:
1. Heat 2 tbsp of ghee in a pan.
2. Add grated beetroot and stir fry for 2 minutes
3. Put cardamon powder, sugar and mix well
4. Add condensed milk and mix
5. Now pour the milk and cook until it becomes thick and sticky stirring continuously
6. Meanwhile heat ghee in a pan and fry the cashews, raisins and almonds
7. Add this to the halwa and mix well
8. Garnish with some cashews, almonds and raisins
Serve hot
