Cabbage Paratha

Ingredients:

1. Cabbage - 1 cup (shredded)
2. Whole Wheat flour / Atta - 2 cups
3. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
4. Chilli powder - 2 tsp
5. Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
6. Salt to taste
7. Water as required
8. Ghee / Oil - 2 tbsp
9. Cilantro / Coriander leaves - few (chopped)

Preparation
1. Heat ghee / oil in a pan and saute the cabbage till the raw smell goes
2. In a large bowl, add the flour, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala powder, cilantro, salt and mix well
3. Put the sauteed cabbage and mix
4. Add very little water and knead into a soft dough
5. Let the dough rest for 10-15 minutes
6. Divide the dough into 10 equal portions
7. Roll them in a small circle shape, fold from four sides and roll them into slightly thin square parathas, or as usual roll them in a circle shape (folding and rolling the parathas in square shape, makes the paratha very soft)
8. Heat tawa, add the rolled paratha and cook on both sides until golden spots appear.
9. Brush oil/ghee on both sides (optional)
Serve hot with curd or pickles
