Wheat - garlic Naan

Ingredients:
1. Whole Wheat Flour / Atta - 1 1/2 cup
2. Active Dry Yeast - 2 tbsp
3. Salt - 1 tsp
4. Sugar - 2 tsp
5. Curd / Yogurt - 3 tbsp
6. Warm water - 3/4 cup
7. Oil / ghee - 1/4 cup
8. Garlic paste - 3 tbsp
9. Melted Butter for brushing (optional)

Preparation:
1. Add sugar and yeast to 3/4 cup of warm water. Allow the yeast to soften and stir until yeast is dissolved. Cover the cup with a towel and allow the yeast and water to froth for 5-10 minutes
2. Take a mixing bowl and whisk the flour and salt. Add yeast water, garlic paste, yogurt and ghee/oil and knead for 10 minutes until a soft dough forms
3. Place dough in a bowl coated with oil and turn dough around to evenly coat. Cover the bowl with a towel and allow the dough to rise in a warm area for at least 1 hour or until the dough has doubled its size
4. Again knead the dough and divide into 12 pieces and roll out on floured surface into slightly thick circles.
5. Heat a pan and place the rolled out dough until lightly brown and puffed up. Turn side till golden spots appear.
6. Brush little butter on both sides (optional)

Serve hot with curry of your choice
