Tawa Paratha

Ingredients:
1. Whole Wheat Flour - 1 cup
2. Salt -  A pinch
3. Ghee / Oil - 2 tbsp
4. Warm water as required

Preparation:
1. Mix wheat flour, salt and prepare a soft dough by adding water little by little just as you make a dough for chapati. The dough should neither be hard nor sticky. Knead the dough well for 2 minutes. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes
2. Make smooth equal sized balls out of the dough
3. Dust flour and roll the ball into a small circle, Spread little oil/ghee on the surface.
4. Fold the circle and apply a little ghee/oil on the semi circle
5. Again fold it to get a triangle shape
6. Now dust flour and roll out the triangle gently
7. Heat a tawa and put the rolled out triangular chapati on it. Wait till bubbles appear. Spread little oil/ghee (optional) and flip it over to the other side. Apply oil on the other side also and press the paratha well with a slotted ladle so that it puffs up. Also press on the corners of the parathas to get cooked well
8. Cook till brown spots appear both sides
Serve hot with any gravy or subji of your choice or tomato chutney
