Carrot Bitter gourd Fry / Carrot Bitter gourd Thoran / Carrot Kaipakka Thoran / Carrot Kaipakka Fry


Ingredients:
1. Carrot - 2 (thinly chopped into small squares)
2. Bitter gourd - 2 (thinly chopped into small squares)
3. Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
4. Green chilli - 3
5. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
6. Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
7. Onion - 1 (thinly chopped)
8. Salt to taste
9. Oil for frying

Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan
2. Add onion and saute well
3. Then add green chillies and saute
4. Put chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and cook for 1 minute
5. Add carrot, bitter gourd and grated coconut and mix well
6. Keep covered on low flame till carrot and bitter gourd are cooked
 Serve hot wit plain rice
