Ingredients:
1. Spring Onion - 1 cup (Chopped)
2. Tomato - 1 cup (chopped)
3. Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
4. Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
5. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
6. Hing / asafoetida / Khayam podi - 1/2 tsp
7. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
8. Cumin powder - 1 tsp
9. Red Chilli powder - 1 tsp
10. Oil - 1.5 tbsp
11. Coriander leaves to garnish
12. Salt to taste
Preparation:
1. Heat oil in a pan. Splutter mustard seeds and cumin seeds
2. Add tomatoes and cook for 1 minute
3. Put turmeric powder, salt, hing and mix well. Cover and cook for 2 minutes
4. Add spring onions, red chilli powder, corainder powder, cumin powder and mix well
5. Cover and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame
6. Garnish with coriander leaves
Serve hot with chapati or roti
