Mushroom Masala Dry

Ingredients:
1. Button mushrooms - 1 pound (sliced)
2. Potato - 1 (cut into cubes)
3. Tomato - 1 (chopped)
4. Garlic cloves - 3 (chopped)
5. Onion - 1 (chopped)
6. Green chilli - 3 (chopped)
7. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
8. Red Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
9. Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp\
10. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
11. Salt to taste
12. Oil for cooking
13. Coriander leaves to garnish
14. Water - 1/4 cup
Preparation:
1. Clean the mushrooms with little turmeric powder and hot water. Cut into slices and keep aside
2. Boil the potato cubes, drain away the water and keep aside
3. Heat oil in a pan. Saute the onions, garlic and green chilli. Saute well till onions turn golden brown
4. Add tomatoes and cook till they become mushy
5. Put turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, pepper powder, salt and fry for 1 minutes
6. Add water and wen it boils, put sliced mushrooms and potatoes.
7. Mix well and cook covered for 2 minutes
8. Open the lid and stir fry till it becomes a thick dry masala
9. Garnish with coriander leaves
Serve hot with roti or chapathi
