Pazham Pori / Banana Fry / Banana Fritters

Ingredients:
1. Ripe Banana - 2 (Big)
2. All Purpose Flour/Maida - 1 cup
3. Gram Flour/Besan - 1 tbsp
4. Rice Flour - 1 tbsp
5. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
6. Sugar - 2 tsp
7. Salt - A pinch
8. Water as required to make a batter
9. Oil for deep frying

Preparation:
1. Peel the bananas and cut it into lengthy thin pieces
2. Mix together the rice flour, gram flour, maida, turmeric powder, sugar and salt. Add enough water to form a batter and mix well without any lumps. The batter should have a medium consistency as of dosa batter
3. Heat oil in a kadai/wok
4. Dip each sliced banana piece into the batter
5. Place the coated banana pieces into the hot oil and deep fry on both sides till golden brown
6. Remove to paper towels to drain the excess oil in fried banana
7. Serve hot with evening tea
